On the eastern side of the island, there is the Vathi valley, and the quiet port of Rina.
The bay is so long and narrow, it looks like a fjord full of fishing boats and excursion boats.
You can do many activities such as sea kayaking, excursions to the nearby beaches, fishing and climbing.
Before leaving Vathi, stop for lunch at one of the picturesque fish taverns.
