PELAGOS Kalymnos Island Greece

Things to do and Sightseeing in Kalymnos Island

Caves of Kalymnos

Caves of Kalymnos

Numerous caverns have formed on Kalymnos because of the way the island’s rocks are made.

In addition to their geological significance, several of these locations also hold archaeological significance since they were either occupied or used as religious sites in the past.

There are a total of sixteen caverns to explore, although only three—the Kefalas cave, the Epta Parthenon (Seven Virgins) cave, and the Skalia cave—deserve any sort of attention.
